Is there a difference in the quality of the imported video if it is brought in by firewire or usb 2.0 video capture device? Is it easier with one vs. the other? TIA

I have an istant dvd analogue capture device. It can transfer (burn) the video from a vcr directly to a disk. I think it saves it as a "vob". Is there a way that I can import this into WWM2 to edit it at a later date.-if I

I am trying to make a slide show with background music. I noticed that when I open a picture in full screen view it looks great. However, as soon as I add it to the timeline and open it in full screen view it is horrible. I have the same problem as christine.

When I attempt to create a slide show with sound using the Automovie feature, everything works great except it always chops off the end of the song. Anybody out there have any ideas as to why or what I'm doing wrong? Automovie appears to be fairly easy with few options.
