Upon opening a project which has missing files ("X"), the program immediately shutdown without allowing any possible to relocate the missing file or even deleting the "X".  Can anyone help?  Thanks

Moviemaker closes down. Why

I can't add any effects! When I add it, it will automatically shut the program down....all along, this has not been a  problem for me..can someone help me?

Whenever I try and add titles/video effects slide transfers etc.. to my
file, movie maker exits & unless I have saved my project before "creating
the video" I have to start from scratch?

what is the minimum version of windows media player for somebody to view wmv's that I have created using windows movie maker.  On my machine I am up to date on windows movie maker and I also have windows media player 9.
