I made a movie clip on XP machine #1 and moved the clip
to xp machine #2-- I get sound but no video on machine
#2, just big red x's in the timeline.  Also machine 2 is
missing many of the "video effects" and has no "video

Is it possible to insert a clip of .wmv into a larger clip of .wmv? I don't
want to combine it, I do want to insert it in the middle of the other clip.
I fit is possible, can you please let me know how? Thank you.

Can movies created in this format be added to public websites?  If so must the viewer have Windows Moviemaker to view the movie?  Can WMM movies be viewed in any other format that is generic to web movies (like macromedia flash or Swish?)

I have a Pinnacle Stusio8 set up hardware and software but cannot persuade MM" to recognise this hardware. I only receice an icon with Pinnacle filter??? can anyone help please.

We are using a screen capture to make an avi clip about 7 minutes long. We drag it into MM2 as a clip. When we drag it onto the storyboard, suddenly the quality drops to unusable.
We've tried:
-using different resolution
-different codec

How can you adjust the picture size on the TV screen of your finnished product?  I have inserted slides from a PP presentation and they have writing on the top and sides, when seen on TV a part of the writing is cut off.  I am using MM2 and MyDVD.  Thanks

When I try to use transitions in yhe clip, I just click into the desired transition type and the WMM 2 closes automaticaly.
What can I do?

Every time I try to save an edited movie also... the thing shuts down at 65%
.. ever single time like clock work.
Any suggestions?  Besides getting a Mac and using Imovie?  I saw a demo of
that and I was drooling.

Hi when I record with WMM it seems to automatically import as a WMV file. Is there a function on WMM that allows you to record as a dv-avi file?

As one uses a digital video camera, the video is being saved in an avi
format.

How can I copy just a clip from a home made formated
dvd?  When I bring up the file through my computer I get
files my computer cannot read alone.  All I need is a
clip.

My system is a HP Pavilion AMD 64 3200+ 1.79Ghz, 512mb of ram.  
should my system be draging using MM2?  and now MM2 just froze up on
me.  is there anything I need to check?  My movie so far is 17min
long.

I can make a project, add my files, music, etc... and save it as a PROJECT, and reopen it.  But I wanted to save it as a movie that I can use on the web or send in emails, or just save to my computer and it won't let me?!!
