Any cheap way of getting your mini-dv movies into a computer other than
the camcorder intself?
I use a studio Canon Gl-1 and want to take the mini-dv tape home and
upload the movie to my laptop. Can't afford a mini-dv vcr right now

Saw this ad for a jump drive and I'm thinking about buying it to
transfer my wmm files around town.
What do you think?

I finally got MM2 to install. I had several services on my machine disabled. Restarting certain ones finally allowed MM2 to install. Specifically:

Why is it that when i save certain video files they triple in size?  My videos added up should be around 150 mb and they are being saved as 450 mb.  Can someone tell me what is going on.
