Hi, I want to tranfer my old Video 8 movies to my PC, and I'm using my new
MiniDV camcorder that has the analog to digital passthrough.  But when I
click CAPTURE in MovieMaker it PLAYS the tape in the MiniDV camcorder, and
if I press stop, then MovieMaker stops capturing, so I can't ...

Besides ripping, is there any other method of getting dvd files to function
on movie maker?

I have videos that have audio in it and want to have the audio in the video
muted.  However, whenever I go to the record narration option, the "mute
video soundtrack" is grayed out and I can't click that option.  It would be
greatly appreciated if someone could tell me how to ...

I have put together 70 stills as a record of excavations and installations.I
have placed a sound track.I have used a transition for each frame.The program
plays well in situ.upon attempting to create and save the movie it inevitably
jams ..stops.

I was using MM2 to make a Slideshow that I could put onto a VCD.  I
previously used Roxio's Photosuite to do this.
I noticed when i copied a photo which looked fine in the collections
window, to the timeline, it would become fuzzy in the preview window,

I recently bought a mid-range digital camcorder and am having trouble making
good quality movies. When I capture the video and play it, it looks good and
sounds good. When I attempt to make a movie it changes to more grainy version
and the audio is also of a less quality than the ...

Whenever I try to start Movie Maker I receive this error message, "The
ordinal 466 could not be located in the dynamic link library WMMUtil.dll.
Does anyone have a fix for this? The program never starts.

Please help! I'm trying to burn some of my MM2 files to a
dvd for playback on my DVD player, but they always tend
to come out blurry looking once I've burned them. What
kind of format do I need to save them as on my computer

Is there any way to capture digital video through the USB
ports on either MM1 or MM2? I thought I was doing it a
few weeks ago but now I can't get the PC to recognize the
camera.

movie maker 2 is the worst more music videos, how am i expected to make any
semi decent music videos when it does not create clips on import and when i
select for it to create clips out of a file..
i even much prefer the good old reliable normal mindows movie maker... and

If i try to add a text to my pictures or make the picture fade away Movie
maker shuts down. I updated movie maker and still I have the same problem. If
I Uninstall it, it may solve the problem but where do I uninstall the
program? It doesn't show up anywhere in the Windows ...

about 2 wks. ago i read something on this site, and now i can't find out how
to download this additional video transition/effect.

So I have made many movies before with no problems but now my Transition
options are gone and I only have 2 effects to choose from - any Idea what

I can play a wmv file but when I try to import it into
collections of WMM2 I get the following error: File is not
indexed and cannot be imported. How do you index a wmv
file?
