I've recorded a movie under movie maker 1 but the picture quality is very
poor. Is there anything I can use to improve this.  
I have a sony digitaal video camera (DCR-HC14E) and used a USB cable. My PC
has an intel pentium 4 processor 3.06ghz

I am using MM2, capturing with a Texas Instrument IEEE 1394 card.  The video
previews, acts like it is capturing, but then when I stop the capture & click
finish....
I get a pop-up error:

While recording in Movie Maker my preview window is completely black.By the
way i can record sound and movie but  without preview.I am using a capture
card
Movie maker recognise the card but can let me see the preview when

The audio bitrate is 4611 Kbps. It seems like strange.
Video bitrate is 815 Kbps and it's ok.
File format is .wmv
Is there any problem?

I can't find it anywhere, and the website's really unhelpful. do I need
windows xp before I can go ahead?
