Is there anyway to LOCK the "effect" or the text onto a clip?  If i happen to
add a picture, it shifts the text onto the next clip.

I have moviemaker 1.1 which came with my version of XP home and I am just
starting to use it.
I have opened an mpeg and trimmed some unwanted material from the start. It
all looks ok

cannot find where it goes too. i have searched for it but
it seems to be no where,  and MM1 is still on my computer.

I have an MP2 formatted file which is 5.5 gb.  I need to get this on a
single dvd, could anyone tell me what format this can be converted to, to
get this on  a single disk? Is there any special tool necessary?

every time i try to put on an effect, title, transition etc.. my mm2 crashes!
it just quits, no warnings, no messages.

Hi i can't save my movie as WMV. i only have the choice of MSWMM and my media
player wont play it. also when i try sending it to my mates they can't open
it either cos it is in the wrong file format. how can i change this?

1.  Where can I find Movie Maker 1.
2.  Can I keep both MM1 and MM2 on my hard drive.
MM1 does things MM2 can not.

hi, ive been working with windows movie maker 2 for a month or so.. but for
some reason my title maker wont work.. when i go to add a title. where the
title is suppost to be in the movie, its just grey.. and when i overlap it
with a clip, it makes the clip grey and i still cant ...

I have been working on a project for almost 90 hours and now I can't do

when I try now to capture video to my computer useing windows movie maker.
When I hit start to capture video it starts with no preview on the computer
side.. but on the camcorder viewfinder I can see video and not on the
computer. Not to mention the file size stops at 3k..

I've just finished working on a 45min video in Moviemaker
2, when transfering the completed movie back to DV tape
Moviemaker displays an warning message, stating that there
is not enough disk space to create the necesary temp file.
