I am trying to download video from a Panasonic NV-GS11 to a Dell computer. I have connected using a USB port. When I try to capture I get the message 'A video capture device was not detected ...' Any help on where to start appreciated.

most of the time this works fine but I have 2 clips that refuse to combine. No error message - nothing happens. They are both clips captured off the same digital 8 tape and other clips from this footage have combined fine. Its not a major problem as I can just run one after the ...

I have made a few videos with my webcam using Movie Maker and would like to know if there is a way I can make their file sized smaller either by compressing them or by making the viewing screen smaller, without losing and of the content.

when I try to capture video with my JVC grd- 800 Dv Camera, the device is found but when I try to proceed past the video setting page, I get an error message "an interface has too many methods to fire events from" then "unspecified error"

Having just started mm2 after some effort I successfully edited and burnt my first movie.To show how clever I was I burnt it again,success, Now a problem. In my new effort I edited, having imported from a PAL dv camera as before.

I've had my DVD burner for several months and have burned many data and audio CDs sucessfully. After importing my digital video into MM2, I edited a short 2 1/2 minute clip that I will need in an upcoming court appearance.

I am attempting to use Windows Movie Maker for the first time with a Canon Optura DV camera connected to an IEEE 1394 port. I am running Windows XP Home, SP1 with 1GB of RAM and a 1GHz P4 processor.
