Hi I installed SP2 the other day and now I'm having
nothing but problems with MM2.  After a very few minutes  
of work it encounters a problem and closes.  Tried to do
a system restore to put it back the way it was -to SP1-

I use a analog capture card thru s-video for 640x480. It
works OK in "video settings, other settings", but not
in "best quality(recommended)" as I get message "..video
device in use, close other applications using device". I

When I record from my camcorder to my computer my audio
files are not distorted when I record under DV-AVI.
However, when I bring a file down into the
timeline/storyboard section the sound becomes distorted.

In error I took picture with my camera in mpeg mode. I would like to have
still picture of these movies. Is there a way to do this with movie maker, or
is there another program that would do this. Thank you Chestina

Note: I am re-asking the question as 2.1 was released
recently, and I can import my files into WMEnc9.
To give you an idea of my starting point/version, I
slipstreamed SP2 into an XP install.

Anybody else having this problem?

Hi I have a roxio dvd burner creator 6 which does not successfully burn the
files from movie maker Xp.  Are there other programs that cand do this.

I see this question has been asked but I'm not clear about the answer.
I have a Sony TRV325 and am capturing via firewire to MM2. The time/date
stamp info is showing in the camcorder viewfinder/lcd display but not on the
captured video. Am I doing something wrong or is it not ...

After updating to SP2, my WMM will not load.  An error message that says
"Unspecified Error" pops up then disappears; that is what's left of my

Hi All,  I have created a video project in Movie Maker.  It is saved as a
project.  The project contains some short videos and some still pictures.
After I opened the project, I moved one of the short videos to another part
of the project but the text that was written 'on the clip' ...

Can I use maviemaker to convert and AVI file into a format that can be
played on a DVD player?

Will Movie Maker automatically capture clips into
different separate files during one capture session?  I
know that it will break the movie into clips for editing
after capture, but I would like to have the clips saved
