I always made update of Moviemaker with Windows Update.
Now, Microsoft added the upgrade with SP2. I had to
reformat my PC and just want the old and good Moviemaker
upgrade that is not available anymore.

Ive got a vaio and ive just done an educational video
project on movie maker because ive never done any editing
work before.
I wanted to burn to dvd at the end using sonys own click

Is there a way to edit out a few words on a song? On the song I am using at
the very end I just need to take out a few words. What I was trying  to do
was to  fade it out to cover up these words and then fade it back in again
for the end of the song but I can't seem to do it.. ...

I created a storyboard from JPEG pictures, added music, saved it to my hard
drive as a movie so I could burn it to a DVD.  I burned it but it won't play
on my DVD player or on my computer.  I tried to save it in another format but
there are no options.  HELP

I downloaded the service pack and it installed fine but i
dont have Windows Movie Maker 2.1 on my computer like i
am supposed to.  I dont know how I am supposed to get it

Can someone please help me? I have been using movie maker 2.0 for over a year
now and all of a sudden I get this error when I try to capture my video
"Class not registered" and also when I try to save my movie file to my
camcorder it does not save it. It will just say movie did ...

is there a free .mov to .avi converter that doesn't have
a water mark so i can edit video in MM2??

While I think the built-in selection of effects and transitions are quite
good, they just aren't quite enough for certian things. Is there either a way
I can A) create/download and import custom effects and transitions, or B)
modify or create them from within WMM?

I love the movie maker because it was very simple to do.  I can email my
movie, but I can't save to cd.  It goes through transistion completely like
it is working.  Let's me know it will take so many minutes, ect.  when
finished cd does not eject, and when I look at cd nothing is ...

our students have only limited access to the C Drive and
for some reason Movie Maker will not allow students to
access transitions.  It also gives them problems with
importing pictures.  

I'd like to start capturing movies from my Sony DVD to my PC, and make edits
and so forth.  Starting out with MM2 seems as good as any.
But if I invest time in editing/creating movies and then decide to step up
to something different (like AdobePremier?) later, I'd like to have ...

Is it possible to combine Gif images and flash movies
(their files are with the extension .swf or .exe) with
other video files and still pictuers using movie maker?

why does MM2 always freeze up and stops responding.  I
have a new computer with xphome.  how do I stop this from
occurring??

I have VCDEasy and want to make a Video CD but VCDEasy will only accept a
movie file of type MPEG1. I have only been able to save a Windows Media Video
format File WMV which VCDEasy does not recognize.
