I've created a slideshow in WMM (v. 2.1.4026.0) and am attempting to save it to my computer as an AVI (under Other Settings: DV-AVI (NTSC)). The estimated space required for the movie is 1.41 GB. I have 112 GB availabe (so plenty of space).

Does anyone know of any free software (or near enough free) that will convert the wmv file that mm2 produces to a .mov. I thought that quicktime pro might be able to but it doesn't. Any thoughts?

I recently converted a movie maker .AVI file using TMPGenc. I burned a DVD and the visual part is good however the audio portion is is choppy. Sounds a bit like a skipping record. Any ideas on how to improve audio quality would be greatly appreciated.

After no success trying a lot of changes i found out the followinf solution: 1. Be sure to backup all your important jobs 2. Enter in to save mode 2. Rename the directory Movie Maker
