I've accidentally recorded a TV program that was 4:3 format as 16:9 with the result of the mpg being squashed in the middle and two black areas each side of the screen. Is there anyway that I can correct this and get back to correct 4:3 format

Does anybody know if there is a program similar to Rad Video Tools to convert Movies into AVI Files? Rad Video Tools doesn't work for me, only a few of my movies can be converted, eventhough they were all taken with: Nikon Coolpix 3200.

I have seen this question answered in the recent past, but can't locate it now. When making a movie, how do I "bleep" an unwanted word or sound from the soundtrack clip taken from camcorder or VCR? Thanks.

I'm using Windows Movie Maker Version 2.1.4026.0 on a new Dell WinXP Media Center 2005, 3.4 GHz, 2 GB RAM system, with an NVIDIA GeForce 6800 video card, an Angel TV tuner card, and an SB Audigy 2ZS Audio (D8CO) sound card.

Hi, I hope someone can help me as Im pulling my hair out. I have been using powerdirector to edit my home movies - as soon as I convert it to mpeg 2 or 1 on my computer and then view it - i notice that the sound and audio arent syncronized.

Windows Movie Maker does not seem to have the ability to adjust the brightness or contrast of the captured video. Is this correct, or am I missing a function in the software. Other simple video software does seem to have this capability as editing is done.
