I am having difficulty importing video clips from my olympus digital camera. it seems to import them onto my computer as MOV files which are not recognised by Movie Maker - does anyone know how to convert them to a format that will work?

I use a Panasonic DV NV DS65. When I record and playback on the camera or linked up to the TV the picture quality is perfect but when I use Windows Movie Maker to capture the video the quality of the picture is very jerky and pixalated.

i have been using windows movie maker...pictures on my computer are clear...when i put them in movie maker and preview them they are blurry....i know there is feature of editing that can make them blurry but i did not select this....i have even tried selecting other editing ...

When I try to drag a new clip to my storyboard, the whole program freezes. I have MM1. I have to shut down the whole program. This also happens when I try to use NERO. What do I need to do? I am trying to use video clips saved to my computer from my Sony MiniDVD.

I am trying to create training DVD's for use in my classroom, but have so far been unsuccessful. When I capture video from my DV in AVI format, the resolution is high, but the content is choppy. I have turned off the preview pane....closed programs

I've capture video using my Sony DCR HC20E DV Camera PAL connected to a firewire port. I capture our field trip using mm2, but while i'm capturing in the preview windows it appears to be dark, but on the LCD of my camera looks fine and bright!

WMM is great for the price, but it is a very limited program and, as Papa John's web site clearly shows, is prone to crashes. So, I post to ask what video editing program would WMM users recommend that is not so expensive or hard to learn?

I have a Sony TRV-33E miniDV, when using Sony packaged software for capturing on USB, audio works OK. When using WMM or Roxio for capture, video is OK but no audio. WMM and Roxio play back video and audio from files captured with Sony software OK. Could capture everything with ...

I installed the latest beta of Vista yesterday, and it has the beta of Movie Maker included.... there's a screen shot of it on the Setup > Vista page of my website, with more info to roll out as I explore it.
