does anyone know if /how to have BOTH background music and narration?
thought about playing my music and speaking then burning to a CD then
importing.. but there must be an easier way!! or maybe better software?

I'm a complete newbie with MM.  Before I start to play around with it, I

I have saved my movie but when I play it back before I burn it to a disk, it
freezes at a new spot each time. How can I fix this? I need to finish it

I am a newbee, my first experience with WMM. I have saved my movie consisting
of still pictures and naration to DV- AVI format. Copied to a CD. Both of my
DVD players ( both new, one a DVD player/recorder ) will not recognize my CD
and spit it out. What did I do wrong?

I want to use Good Will Hunting to make a presentation to other colleagues in
the office.  Movie Maker will not allow me to import anything from this movie
when it is inserted into my CD drive.  First, is there some problem using a
regular Hollywood movie to copy from?  Secondly ...

after moving some big movie files into another drive, some become
pictureless and have only sound

this sounds dumb, but I can't find movie maker.  I have XP service pack
2 installed, and the MS page says that's how you get it.  What am I
missing?  Is it just somewhere and I don't know how to launch it?  I
can't find a download for it?

I keep trying to save this video I made as a movie file so I can upload it,
but it isn't working. :( Everytime I do try to save it as a movie file all
that happens is the number of minutes remaining just keeps increasing but the
percentage done stays at 0%. PLEASE someone help me ...

Awhile back, I created a movie, sent it by email, and saved to my files.  The
project is saved under My Documents: My Videos.  I am unable to clear the
storyboard and begin again.  I suppose I could delete each feature on the
storyboard, but then I'd never be able to work on two ...

I'm trying to make a simple slideshow using 40 pictures so that i can upload
it onto  my youtube videos.  I manage to create a title with effects and i
begin to add pictures into the timeline, as normal, as you would do with
other clips.

I converted my quicktime videos (mov) into aiv just so I could use Windows
Movie Maker. I thought I had the hard part done, but now when I try and
import the videos a message comes up saying:
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My Pictures\kiawah\kiawah .avi

Ok. 1st my problem was getting a "Problem copying to CD" message. Solved it
by checking the "allow recordings here" box in the Cd-drive thingy.
NOW, I'm *able* to put my project on a cd, but when I check it on another
pc, I'm not seeing my full work.
