I am a new user to WMM and am scanning slides to jpegs for inclusion
into a slide show. I have successfully made a slide show from these
jpegs, but I wanted the images to retain the file name in the slide
show, which they are not.

I'm new to this.  Somehow I lost the project I was working on.  I was able to
retrieve most of it but ONLY IN SAVED THE MOVIE VERSION.  Now, my timeline
looks totally different in that several clips are in one frame.  When I try
to add a collection, etc., it adds at the end of ...

I am using movie maker for the first time and I need some help!
When I try to import audio into my movie it give me an error that says it
cannot import the file because it is not a supported file type.  When I saved
the music on my computer it automatically saved it as a .m4p file ...

I forgot whether I downloaded and installed Windows Movie Maker
or whether it came with Windows, but need to know for a
documentation. Please help me and tell me.

I just can't seem to get that damn thing to work for me.  I have WinRar and

how can i get 3 hour movie (WMM) file to camcorder 1 hour tapes?

Everytime i "capture a video" from my camcorder, and i play it back, the
video seems to be in fast forward.  I've tried to change the video filter
like the faq says but when i open up options > compatability, i don't have
any video filters .  So i have no idea what the problem is ...

Ok, i don't have a problem creating the vid or previewing it in movie
maker...but when i save and veiw the video in windows media player the color
is distorted, i've checked my setting and drivers and found nothing, can i
get some help with this?

I use Picasa2 to edit and organize my pictures.  I want to import those
pictures with captions intact to Windows Movie Maker.  Everytime I try, the
pictures come without the caption.  I have also tried to add a Caption to the
