Every time I want to make a slideshow with music it won't take mp3. As soon
as I put the mp3 in the timeline movie maker freeze on me? It use to work
before but no more. I check for virus and I have none. I am baffle. Thanks

Win XP Pro, service pack 2, movie maker 2.1
AVI, WMV & some MPG play ok and can be saved as movies in any format.
Some MPG only play sound and will not save, message says the file has
vanished or I've run out of disk space, neither is true.

When I play my movie in playback mode, it jumps to the end of the movie after
certain video clips.  When I step through the same clips, it continues to the
next clip as it should.  If I omit the clip, it still jumps to the end of the
movie.  Any solution?

When I try to publish it, it will not show in windows media player, it just
play the music and show a black screen, please help, the video is only 11 min
long.

I've imported clips into my project..I  can't see them in my preview video.  
I CAN play them from the contents pane...but I can't play my project from the
storyboard or timeline.

I am having trouble putting titles on my photos because no matter what color
I pick for the letters it ends up matching the picture so you cannot see the

I have been scanning pictures and using them to create a movie in MM.  The
project will play through all of my pictures and music in MM.  After I have
saved my project as a movie to my computer and play it back, it will get hung
up on a picture and not go onto the others after it ...

I cannot use any songs I have been trying to use. It says unable to transfer
because wrong format. How do i correct this problem

I keep getting an error message when importing itunes songs from my library
to my movie maker.  I downloaded a "codec" and it still will not accept mp4
songs.

I have made the movie add the music, everything great until I play back on
the DVD connect to the TV the movie is fine but no sound of the audio tracks.

I film my kid's B-Ball games each week and burn them to a DVD.  Is it
possible to add a new game each week so that I would have the entire season
on one DVD?  Each game takes up about 5GB of data in its raw unedited format.

After reading several posts, I've come to the conclusion that saving movies
is a real problem with Movie Maker.  I have the same problem.  I can't save
to hard disk, or e-mail or anywhere because it can't find the original file
that the movie was imported from. But I'm saving to ...

I have tried copy and paste and also dragging a clip to a desired spot but
when I do it ends up at the begining of the timeline.  I have tried moving
the playback indicatior to where I want the clip placed and it still goes
right to the begining.

hey, does anyone know how to edit out bad language from a clip? bleeping or
just silence would work if someone could tell me how.
