When I import a video file into WMM and play it, it has no sound. It use to
work and it is a .avi file from my helmet camera. I dowloaded codecs and
everything and it playes in WMP with sound but not in WMM. I just don't

I imported an audio file into windows movie maker. i used it in a video and
its 7 minutes 50 seconds long. i play the same file in windows media player
and its 3 minutes 42 seconds. whats going on? i want a 3 minute song not a 7
minute one.

I have some avi files, and I can play it with Windows Media, but when i add
this clips in movie maker in the scale time and i try to play it, the image
is frozen, i only can hear the dialogs, but the image does not change, What
is wrong?

I need some help. I imported some DV and I imported it into Movie Maker.
Everything worked so far, but when I try and put the clip in the timeline to
start to work on it ....the system freezes. Everything become unresponsive

In Vista Pro, movie maker won't play an mpg shot with a Sony DCR-SR42. I
import the mpg, right click and play, the status bar moves as if the movie is
playing, but the screen remains black. Why does the movie not play?

I'm new to this site, so please be patient with me.
I have made a movie using photos, and added music looks great,  however when
it came to publish this movie,  it would not allow to burn on dvd,  it only
let me burn on recordable cd,  why ??  so I did burn on a disk (dvd-r)  

I'm using MM for a slide show, and have spent hours putting the movie
together.  I'm only using pictues as clips, and have set the duration for all
