I've been using MM 2.1 (SP2 version) for about 8 months now.  Prior to this
past week, hadn't used it in a couple months.   Prior to last week, was
always able to capture video (via USB connection) from my Sony camera.

I downloaded video clips from my camera onto a CD.  Then I imported the clips
from the CD into Windows Moviemaker.  I played through the clips to choose
which ones I wanted to use in the video.  Everything was working great at
this point.  I dragged clips into the timeline, added ...

to thank each and everyone of you that helped me along the way.  Your links
are a great source of information.

This is a problem I've heard others have had, but I've yet to find a

It’s my first time making a movie – actually the project is finished … but I
can’t figure out how to burn it on a DVD (I have DVD+R and DVD+RW available)
or publish it on my notebook. The project has 2,850 MB. (8 mp3, around 300
jpg, 13 png, 2 mpg … all together around 300 MB).

Output set to 16:9 - but I get 4:3!24 Jul 2008 10:22 GMT1
I've returned to MM2 after a long break, so I may be missing something
