When I first bought my laptop computer a couple weeks ago

I just started working in PhotoShop 7 (better late then

play a SACD hybrid CD while I can play it on my car CD

When I had WinMe installed, the speaker system worked fine.
After I upgraded to WinXP, only the subwoofer and the
midranges work, but there's no sound coming out of the
tweeters. I have looked into the sound utility in XP's

This used to be fine but now when I play any music on my
PC I can hear the muic but the words and almost silent in
the background almost as though it is instrumental, can
anyone help?  I am running XP.  Thanks
