I downloaded the latest version of windows media player
9,and upgraded the windvd & intervideo this has improved
the quality of the picture.The problem is now there is no
sound from both the media player,dvd,even when playing

When I try to play a cd on my Windows 98 machine with
Media Player 9.0 I get a message that media player can't
play in digital mode and to hit ok to change to analog
mode.  After I hit OK media player still will not play

I am trying to get album info for the CD's I play from
the Internet.  I keep getting the message that I need to
update my privacy settings.  I go to Internet Options and
look for the Media Library tab like it says in help, only

card, Blaster 16 PCI without uninstalling the default
sound card.  I have uninstalled Blaster 16 PCI.  How do I

Q: In creating a CD with Window's Media player I want to
know how to erase or delete any time or space between
tracks.  So that the music will play right on through as
it switches tracks with any pause?

I have a software package called OpenMG by Sony
(basically stores ATRACS to enable downloading onto MD).
However I have lost all the files. I can still access
them, but despite my searches they don't seem to be

nero burn says out of memory when making a cd but i have
65gigs. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling it gives my
burning engine is being used and something about the
IMAPI.help.

I use platinum EX by sound blaster. Everything was up and
running fine, but a few days ago I had TERRIBLE crashes
with their MEDIA SOURCE CD software.
Now, when I try and re-install the software, it says:

Why will my computer no longer "scan for music" when I
try to burn a CD?  It used to scan.

Hi all, in wm9, the first few seconds of every song I
play goes very slow, then the speed returns to normal.
What is the problem? I have checked the play speed and it
is all set to normal.

I am trying to record a cassette from my stereo onto the
computer.  I have the cables and hooked them up to the
in/line but I can't seem to pick up anything on the
computer.  I have selected the in/line option on the

Any ideas how to send track from my cd to friends? This is
all legal, I wrote, played, & recorded the tracks at a
local studio, so it's not pirating.
