After my old HD died last week, I decided to change from W98SE to XP.
I have a Sound Blaster Live! 1024.  While XP was configuring my hardware, it
decided it was a "Creative SB Live! Value (WDM)", but I don't know wether
this is relevant.

When I try and copy songs to cdr the process comes up as follows;

I have downloaded songs from napster. as i was trying to burn it in a cd, it doesn't work. it doesn't let me do anything at all. i tried slowing the speed...tried so many resources. help! i'm sure you know other means.

I am trying to convert some mp3 files to wma with Plus audio converter. I want to add copy protection to the wma's. Does anyone know how to do this as there doesn't seem to be an option for it? (Or is there another piece of software I could use to do this?)

I am trying to record from an "all-in-one" audio system
(CD, tape, am/fm radio in one unit).  Have the cable from
the headphone jack on the unit to the line-in on the PC

I think my problem may just be that my computer doesn't like my blank cds but it is frustrating because I've already tried three different brands(TDK, Verbatim and Memorex)

I have a vast selection of music in MP3 format.
Unfortunately my non PC based CD player is an old version
& cannot play MP3 format music files.
When I load a music CD where songs are in MP3 format I get

tracks but find they are not in  numerical order a friend
states if your right click a menu appears and you can
