I installed Xp SP2 about a month ago and ever since, I've hand sound issues. When ever I play a song/movie/game moderately loud, I hear static. It's never done that under SP1. I have all the updates for Xp and my Sound

I recently installed 3 security updates and 1 critical update plus the above update for Windows XP Driver for Realtek AC 97 Audio. I have lost all sound ... no system sounds, no sounds from CD, no audibles from Yahoo Messenger, etc.

I originally had Windows ME and now have Windows XP Professional. Iwould like to burn Cds, but when I try I get "no burner detected-press F5 torefresh" When I do this, I get the same message. Help does anyone know what Ihave to do andhow to do it?

I may be really doing this wrong or somethign, but every time I either record a CD or download music from the net, I do it using Windows media player, but it always comes up on my computer as Musicmatch and it never has the labels on it. Or sometimes when I put my own info in, I ...
