When I put a cd in the drive to copy it, the system doesn't recognize that a cd is in the drive (IT'S LIKE THERE IS NO CD IN THE DRIVE AT ALL). I can't copy or burn cd's. Can some one tell me what the problem is or tell me how it can be fixed?

Can I record on an unused part of a CD-R ? I have burned on about half of it but when I try to burn on the remainder I keep getting "insert blank CD"

I am new to using Lime Wire Pro. After I make my choices to download, and minimize the program and perform other tasks on the pc, when I return to the home page, the choices act like they are just starting up again.

Just upgraded from 2k to XP Pro. I used to be able to plug headphones into my CD-ROM jack and listen through them to eithier a web cast or a cd. Now when I plug into the headphone jack on the CD-ROM I don't hear anything from eithier the CD-ROM or web cast.

I have a couple of Q's... 1. I saw there a link to get MP10 to play aac (mp4) tracks, will that help Media center play them? I have some because I ripped them with winamp and ripping to aac was going faster than to mp3.

It seems like since i got windows media 10, when I burn cds they all burn in .cda format, even tried using itunes and still show up as a .cda file. How do I change this? Thanks

Initially when I downloaded a SMF it would play automatically on Windows Player. However since installing Cubasis (V5) selected SMFs are played thru that and it is more time consuming. Is there a way to by-pass Cubasis?

After burning 15 CD's without a problem, using Windows Media Library, all of a sudden my burner will not recognize there is a CD in it. How so I resolve this problem? I burned 10 Memorex and 5 Maxell. Should I try another brand? Is there a setting I need to change on my CPU? ...

i have problems burning cds, i'm using windows media. i start burning, shows that is burning finishes and everything but at the end the cd doesn't play. help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lately when i burn songs only like the first 8 or9 play in my car then then next song starts and it gets staticy and stops and my stereo says error. I also noticed this happening when i burn videos too. i use nero and media 10. Any Advice?? Thank You.
