Using XP.
I "disabled" my SoundBlaster PCI card (which has a blown left channel) and
reverted to the built-in Yamaha card on the motherboard. Everything worked
fine at that point.

I have recently bought an MP3 player. I can download my Media Player files to
the MP3, but I CAN NOT any of my iTune files. It looks like it downloads but
none of the iTunes will play. Any suggestions on why they will not play?

I downloaded and burned some short stories for the car with no problem.I want
to burn a long novel that will not fit on a single disc.Is this possible and

i attempted to burn a cd with mp 9 and received an "invalid alignment' error
message. so i upgraded to mp-10 and now after the songs are converted, the cd
closes without burning.

When i create a burn list in media player, i try to burn onto drive e (CD),
but it keeps on telling me inspecting and does'nt change.... please some one

If I have media player 10, Why does it say I need a new plug in to play a
file?  Ten minutes to download a file that says I already have a newer
version. Is this another ms screwup?

I'm trying to track down a problem where WMP version 10 can play a wav file,
but other players, such was WinAmp and WMP 6.4, can't.  WMP 6.4 keeps trying
to reinstall the Windows Media Audio codec, but that doesn't do any good.

It turned out my device driver was not signed. I did an update, and They
