when ever i play music from a cd or 'itunes' or any thing in that case, the computer is playing it but i just can't hear no sound. when i turn my speakers up to full i hear faint static waves so they must be working please some one help i've tryed everything.

Help i've done something to screw up wmp10. When i down load from the site that I use and then got to play the the song..a window shows up and says...the file you are attempting to play has an extension that does not match file format...what on earth does this mean. Go easy on me ...

I was able to do this until the lastes update. I have been using the same type of disc, and burn settings. I have checked the hardware and drivers and they are fine. I am at a loss. Any suggestions?

I have a question regarding how the Media Player Library (I'm using version 9) displays compilation CDs. I use audiograbber to rip CDs->mp3, and when ripping a compilation CD I use the "compilation" checkbox option in audiograbber.
