I need help. I have an icon left in my control panel - CMI Audio Config -
that wont remove after unstalling C-Media sound driver from Microsoft
downloads. Cant delete this driver and the conflict with my NVIDA driver
results in NO SOUND

I have a Dell and have upgraded the CPU chip to a faster Intel P4 chip. When
taking the old chip out, I damaged it, so I cant use it any longer. Since I
have the new chip, I cant download/pay for songs on media player music store
or any pay site for that matter such as walmart ...

Got a new pc a few weeks ago and have noticed that when I click on a track to
play it, it rarely starts from the beginning and usually starts a few seconds
in. The only way to get it play from the start of the track is to pull the
bar back to the start and let it play from there. ...

I sure hope someone can help me.  When I first started to use WMP I did not
know what I was doing and I went to the WMP library > Add to Library >
selected Add Folder > and a dialog box pops up which has 'ADD Folder' at the
top then below it has a list starting with Desktop then ...

I use Media Player 10, worked fine till this week.  No sound at all.  I can
get sound from Quicktime when I use it though.
But the QT pgm wont play .wmv files.
Is there a setting somewhere I need to set or should I reinstall Media Plyr

Windows media player recognises my MP3 player but won't load music onto it.
I'd really like to know why.  Any suggestions of whqt I might do?

goes high and low, i have Windows XP Pro SP2, and Creative 4.1 Inspire. I

I am trying to record home made cassettes onto my computer using Audacity. I
have set the connections to Line in, but Audacity records nothing as the tape
plays. I have one end in the headphone jack of the tape player and the other
two in the Line In jacks for my computer.

I need to figure out how to play WAV files from web pages without having to
load programs such as Windows Media Player...
for example: most dictionaries on the web allow you to hear the word's
pronounciation by clicking the volume icon located right beside it. My

When I plug in my mp3 player or digital camera it doesn't show up as being
attached in my computer even though on the device itself it says it is. I've
installed the drivers from the CDs I got with them but it still won't show up
in my computer.

Using Xp home sp2, Windows Media Player 10
Have a 9 disk book saved to MY MUSIC.  Disks are named...   Disk 1, Disk
2 Disk 3 and so on.
I want to have all nine disks loaded and then play from disk 1 thru disk
