How do I make WMP my default setting.

When i try to play songs on my mp3 player it says the device must be
re-formatted but when I try to re-format in "my computer" it says that the
formatting could not be completed. I've also tried to use the dos string
"format drive/FS:FAT/V:label" but when it gets to 100% ...

The general volume control can be adjusted either (1) by opening the
volume control and changing the volume lever with the up/down keys or
with the mouse cursor, as well as (2) via dedicated volume control
keys, on keyboards provided with this facility.

I recently purachased a new  Dell Dimension E510 PC with XP Media Center.  
There are several guitar jam tracks on MIDI files on various websites that
used on my old PC with no problems, but the "pitch" is incorrect on this
machine.  I have several jam tracks from the Visonmusic ...

I have a 8MB mp3 file which is used on a client's website. The problem is
that this is taking around 85% of site bandwidth. is it possible to reduce
the file size without substantially (noticeably) reducing the quality?

manual it says running xp i dont need to install the driver,that my pc will

Suddenly I can't get any sound on my Dell with Windows XP Professional.  For
example there is not even any "music" when I boot up or close down.  No sound
in running RealPlayer.  All connections are intact, volume controls as they

Every time i transfer music from a cd to my hard drive from windows media
player or sony sonicstage programme, my computer freezes midway through
transfer.
This happens almost every time.
