Advanced volume controls don't want to stay in place31 Jul 2006 20:32 GMT4
In the advanced volume controls, I have been having trouble with the "wave"
control.  It does not want to stay in place when I am using an online
listening service (Rhapsody).  It drops down to a too low level.  By the way,
the volume controls in general are too low.   How can I ...

machine, half of the 80G drive!, and thought it would be a good idea to
Nero 6 and iTunes DVD burning31 Jul 2006 03:05 GMT1
Ever since I installed iTunes, the DVD burner has had problems.  I use
Nero 6 that came with the DVD, latest download version, to burn.
iTunes wants to stick it's upper & lower filters in place at launch.
So when I go to burn a DVD, I get a coaster.  So I remove the filters
WMP 10 & 11 vs. WMP 930 Jul 2006 09:15 GMT1
What can Windows Media Player 10 & 11 do that WMP 9 can't? I don't see any
new features, so what is the point in releasing a new version?

Music Files29 Jul 2006 23:56 GMT1
How should music files be listed in Folders "Administrator", "All Users",
HP_Administrator", & "MCX3" to properly populate and play on Media Center
Extender - XBox 360.  I totally screwed up the above Folders and now get
multiple folders without any files in them.  My musice ...

Plus! for XP and Plus! Digital Media Edition
I noticed that there is a tool that came with Plus! that converts .mp3s to
left channel not working in WM 1029 Jul 2006 20:35 GMT5
For some reason the left channel on my Windows Media 10 (on Windows XP) does
not seem to play anything (CD, MP3), not in headphones nor in speakers in the
monitor. Other audio sources and software (internet, etc.) play both left and
right fine, so it's not hardware.

XP Setup music29 Jul 2006 16:19 GMT1
When installing a fresh version of XP at setup, that neat microsoft music
plays in the background while you're registering and activating.  I used to
know where it was located but cannot remember for the life of me.  Anyone
know where to find it on the HD?

Limewire and Service Pack 228 Jul 2006 17:05 GMT1
I cannot log onto Limewire any longer now that I have Service Pack 2, is
there an issue with these two or do I need to look elsewhere? I've listed
Limewire in the firewall to allow it, but that does not help and in fact
really seems to not allow it.
mp3 album tracks28 Jul 2006 08:58 GMT1
Hi, I have a few mp3 albums I was given that are not separated into tracks
(just one long track).  How do I separate them as I would like to convert
some tracks to WMA to put on CD?  I am very new to this, would I have to
copy with recorder and save? Thanks
Unable to hear Music27 Jul 2006 19:12 GMT1
When I try to listen to a sample file of music on various music sites (e.g.
music.msn.com) I cannot hear it. Not sure if it plays? I have no issue
playing CD's, or other sound related items on my PC, etc. though. I cannot
see any sort of "blocking" that may be in place?
