I have a lot of music on my hard drive recorded from various sites. There is
quite a difference in volume from song to song. I have used the equalizer to
no effect. Can any one tell me how I can equalize the volume without
re=recording. Thanks James

I don't even know what to call this problem. I am listening to an MP3
file and suddenly the sound drops to almost inaudible levels. All
tests on the sound card show it is working OK through testing. Some
wav or mp3 files sound OK but some just don't play any more.
