I cannot get sound in my PC.  How can I troubleshoot sound in my Windows XP?  
I use desktop PC.  My speaker is in good working condition.  I wait for
response.

I'm new at this.  I burned songs from Media Player onto a disk but when I try
to play it in a CD player outside or in vehicle nothing happens.  What did I
not do?

I'm running win xp pro. I had a 40 gig hard drive and upgraded from 40 to 500
gig and once I did this I lost  the sounds on my computer, now I can switch
between the 2 hard drives and when I hook the 40 gig back up I have sound but
when I put the 500 back on I've got no sounds at ...

Yesterday there was sound, today there isn't!
Just checked control panel/sound and nothing has changed, the speakers are
plugged in, but can't hear anything except the internal bleep.
Any help will be appreciated.

Message: i was attempting to free up some space on my hard drive by doing a
defragmentation, however during the process something happened and now my
computer has no sound. when i went into  sound and audio device and looked at
the hardware the audio codec, legacy audio driver, ...

I have several disc that I have burned music to but I failed to slick finish
on them. Is their any way to save these disc? Thank you. James

Searched all over, but can't find anything on this:
I'm running XP-SP3 on a Dell 9400 laptop and using a Logitech G11
keyboard. The keyboard has a nice knob that controls the Windows
volume, but the steps are too big, especially at the low end.  It's

My wireless audio transmitter, (Onkyo UWL-1 wireless USB audio transport),
has suddenly packed up.
The transmitter plugs into a USB port and transmits to a remote receiver
which is plugged into a stereo system. I have 2 of these kits and I’ve

I just noticed that my media player doesn't want to burn CD's I get in the
upper right corner a message that says this "connect a burner and restart the
player"
I tryed almost everything that I read including going back to player 10 but

My previous post should have said "finishing disc". I failed to "click
finish" disc when I was through. Can they be saved? I'll work on my typing

Is there a version of WMP that includes the ability to rip music to the mp3
format?
If not, I presume I need to purchase a plug-in.
