is it possible to have the folder size displayed in windows explorer? in detail view, the size of individual files is listed, but the size of the folder is not...any way to tweak that?

I have 7 xp pro units connected to a workgroup to share a simple file folder. However, after reboot each pc will drop its mapped drive to a centeral xp pro box. WHY?? and what is the fix??
