I have been having a lot of trouble with a laptop seeing

I have setup a domain controller in a building that has
mulitple subnets. I can only add a machine to the domain
if it is on the same subnet.

I have a friend that has XP home edition, she just had a
DHCP problem for the second time. The problem is that she
gets 0.0.0.0 for an IP address. I tested the cable modem
dhcp by connecting my laptop, I was able to obtain an IP

I have a network share that is mapped to a specific Drive
Letter {S:} for a group of users.  When any user in the
group logs on to the network on an 2000 machine the drive
maps correctly. If they log on using an XP Pro machine

i've got a compaq evo n610c on xp pro. When i go to make
a new connection to the internet and go to set it up
manually it greys out the options before the stage of
entering the phone number.
