I am getting the message that the computer can't write to this file when
shutting down.  Can I eliminate it and will it automatically reload?

I have a network with 3 PC's with XP PRO configured as a
workgroup. We would like to share certain directories
using Access Control Lists. For testing purposes, I shared
each directory with simple file sharing and opening it to

I am trying to connect two desktops with a direct PC-to-
PC connection using an Ethernet Crossover Cable. One
system is on Windows 98 and the other is on Windows XP.

home network.  Now I cannot Log on to windows - it does
not accept my domain user-name and password, neither will
