Stubborn pop-up window18 Mar 2004 14:22 GMT1
Well, not actually a window, just a task bar or
something. The window says "To install latest Netpal
Games update, please click Yes". I click OK (the only
option), and the window just comes back. Same thing

1394 error 1018 Mar 2004 09:24 GMT1
Forgive my ignorance here regarding this. I have a relatively new PC and find that the 1394 net adapter nearly always (it's worked once as far as I know) displays a yellow exclamation mark and error 10 (cannot start device). I've tried uninstalling the driver and rebooting, ...

XP Networking, AGAIN!18 Mar 2004 06:09 GMT2

network connection precedence/order18 Mar 2004 01:35 GMT1
My IBM Thinkpad has two ethernet adapters, a 1Gbs, and an 802.11a/b/g wireless. When my laptop is docked, I'd like my Internet apps to use the "hard line" as opposed to the wireless so I can leverage the higher throughput. Currently, the only way I'm guaranteed to use the higher ...

After upgrading the harddisk of my laptop and performing a restore operation
