I have unix server with shares setup that I accessed on
win98 without any problem. (using vision fs product). Now
I connected xp home machine and xp is not able to access
that share. it gives me "you might not have enough

I'm using the tracert command - it works fine with an IP address, but when I try using it with a URL, www.microsoft.com I get the error "Unable to resolve target system name www.microsoft.com

I have a customer using a small workgroup.
They have 2 computers networked together via a hub.
They also have an external Jet Direct serving 2 printers.

I have just installed a Dial up connection for internet
at my cottage. I got online for a brief period and an

modem not initialized for windows xp. It is a Robatics

Ever since i set up my home network (desktop - laptop) my host (desktop) keeps connecting to the net automatically. This can probably be helped by changing a setting?! So could anyone tell me which one?
