I have a laptop running XP Professional and a desktop
running Windows Me. When attempting to start the desktop,
I get the error message:
Error Loading Explorer.exe. You must reinstall Windows.

I can Ping my own IP address.  The LED on the hub is

2 computers connected web via USrobotics wireless
gateway. internet works on both comps. But I cant share

the host computer can get files from the client pc, but
the client can't get files from the host. when the client

I can't get out on the internet, having a host running
2000 that connects via ethernet OK, and client running
XP.  I have run the wizard on XP and wonder if I can run

My newest dilemma... can not access internet thru my cable modem.  "Can't find the page...".  ISP's tech was able to hookup and access the network.  So at that point, we decide that problem is with my PC probably the NIC.  So I replaced the ethernet card.  Still no results.  ...

I have 2 PC's, both running XP Pro and networked together using NICs and a
crossover LAN cable.
One machine is fine and restores the mapped network drives properly when
rebooted or started. The other does not and I have to run the Home

For some reason, my networking isn't working properly in XP.  I installed a Linksys wireless adapter, and the driver installed correctly, but there is no local area connection showing up at all in my 'network connections' window.  I ran the networking wizard, but it did not help. ...

exists and I am hopelessly lost.
