I had a home network, with a router, with a 2000 and a 98
machine, in which I could surf the internet, and they
could talk to each other. I have since obtained a XP

I just "upgraded" a 98SE computer on our peer-to-peer
network to XP Home.  Under 98, we had 'net watcher'
installed to be able to view accesses and open files and
folders from other users.  The 'net watcher' disappeared
