I'm using a windows xp pro sp1 system hooked up to a windows 2000
server sp4 through a netgear 516 switch and find a lot of times, I
can't load internet pages and get the page cannot be found error.
Once in a while, refreshing the page works but most often not.

Autologin will not work because the domain is not
available.  The computers network is not running yet when
the computer goes to login as a user that has not been on

you are who you are, can these be changed.  Also, can
someone else modify them and or use them on their

My computer is connected to a router but I can't aquire
the IP address from the router. The tcpip properties are
set up to obtain an IP address automatically, as well as
DNS, and private IP address. When I try to to do

when i enable the lan ( hard-wired ) connection i lose
internet connectivity on the wireless card. I can however
ping the gateway... any thoughts

I am unable to access My Doc folders such as My Music and
My Pictures for a remote peer-to-peer computer.  I am
able to access folders I created within My Doc.  The

After my XP Pro machine wakes from Hibernation or Standby mode, I find my
network connection isn't quite ready.  Opening a webpage (or accessing the
network any other way) will fail for a couple tries..  But eventually by
just clicking a couple links, it will come back to life.  ...
