i have 2 computers. One has 98se and the other XP profesional. if i try to copy from 98se (p3 650MHz 128ram) to xp (>p4 2400+ 512ram) it works perfect. The other way aroud it doesn't (max 0.97% of 10mbs). I wrote you brakets for wat i considered that is necesarly to know.

Trying to connect 2 Windows XP Pro machines.
One of them (machine 1) has a cable modem connected via a network card.
There is  simple connection with a cross-over cable between the 2 machines.

I'm having a problem.  As a favor for a friend I upgraded his XP pro system,
with a mobo, cpu, and memory swap.  He put XP on it with an upgrade disk
that he got at Best Buy.  Originally he was running 89se.
