Personal firewall advanced tab missing01 Oct 2004 00:32 GMT2
Hi, I can't change settings for my personal firewall.  I
click on properties for my Local Area connection and the
only 2 tabs available are "General"
and "Authentication".  How come "Advanced" isn't there?

I am trying to network a pc running win xp pro to a pc that is running win 2k.
I have connected the two with a cable and I can access the internet fromboth

I have to manually start the Workgroup service after I restart my
computer. It is set to autostart, but it doesn't start. When this
happens, I have no network access.
