I want to create a connection to my home computer from my office computer and
vice versa. How do I find out the IP address or host name for my computers?

I have the following error when I start the Server Service of XP
"Could not start the Server Service on Local Computer.
error 2: The system cannot find the file specified."
However the file SVCHOST.EXE is there under system32.

What works:
The computer correctly registers DHCP information, acquiring ip addressing.
I cannot get a particular computer to access any files / shares on the
