It seems as one of my computers is very resistenly refusing to answer
ICMP echos/pings. I've already tried many things but in vain. My guess
is the ICMP protocol might not be bound to the ethernet card but I have
no idea where to look.

I set up a VPN between 2 machines, both running XP pro.  They connect
via VPN beautifully but I can't seem to be able to actually network
them.  The server and client can't find each other if you do a search
