Folks,
I have a desktop w/ XP Home and a laptop w/ XP Pro.
I have a wireless newtowrk set up where both PC's communicate with a DSLAM
and both can successfully get out to the Internet via the DSLAM using, of

Yesterday I had asked a question regarding setting up 'FQDN' for my personal
laptop having Windows XP Pro Service Pack2
Mr "Pcbutt1" suggested, to setup IIS and register domain name. I am done
with these steps.

When trying to map drive, XP Pro cannot find folders on other PCs that have
been shared from either my wireless or wired network adapters, also when
trying to view workgroup computers, I get "Workgroup is not accessible. You
may not have permision....." from all computers.

i am trying to connect a new pc to my wireless network
it is showing as connecting fine but cannot see the other pcs in the workgroup
i think it might have something to do with the fact its sending bytes but
not recieving them under the lan conection status

Does anyone know if there is a way to view all the desktops on your
home network on a single screen -- miniaturized versions of the other
screens on, say one main PC? How about a picture-in-a-picture of
computers desktops that are connected via a KVM switch?

I carry my laptop around to various places, mostly home and work, both
places it's nice to be able to plug it in & have it figure out on its own
how it should fit into the network.

I have three computers (all XP) in a home network with a router and cable.  
On one computer I previously had ME and could not recover it after some

I have Windows XP as a Host and WinME as a quest.
Both work on ICS well until the XP has a nap, (Hibernating).
When XP wakes up it seems that the quest will no longer have ICS working and
the XP has to be rebooted, then all is working again.
