I've got two Xp's running SP2, one's a desktop and one's a laptop. The desktop is the client and can surf perfectly. The laptop is very slow and when i try to use msn messenger, it wont connect. I also cant go to microsoft.com or hotmail.com. Have i missed a step in configuring ...

Trying to connect a new Dell computer to a HP computer both running XP Home. I successfully set up a linksys wireless network, in which both computers have internet. However, the HP Computer would not share a printer or see the other computer on a network.

When I try to add a user to a group, I can only see the local machine when selecting the "locations" button. The machine is a member of the domain. I am logging in as a domain user with admin prives, the DNS server being pointed to is my domain controller. Any suggestions?

Hi guys on a system I worked on last week the ping.exe and IPCONFIG tools were not available from the command window I had to CD to the system32 folder before they would work. How can I re establish the paths for the command line tools on this system, regards Dave.
