I am trying to access one of my friends shared file at his system. He is in

I have recently changed over to a PPPoE connection to the net .. and my

With previous versions of NT Workstation, if it had a share on it, you could

I installed Win XP SP2 on a new PC and connected it to another PC (with XP
SP1) via a router (D-Link DI-604).  The broadband internet connection via the
router works for both PCs but I can't map a drive to either PC.  
The message I get from the SP1 PC is "network path not found" ...

I have 2 units Linksys 802.11G wireless and 2 units 802.11B wireless.
All 4 units have the same SSID and same 128bit wep key. All 4 units
located in different location of my company but in the same LAN.
For the beginning there was no problem for the network connection. But

When i am online, my dialup connection disconnects after 15 mins.
This is very annoying as i have to re-dial in every time it stops.
Plus this means i cant download anything that takes more than 15 mins.

Can anyone explain this:
I have a desktop and a notebook. The desktop gets its wireless capability
from a wireless router. The laptop has a wireless card, which is how it
connects to the internet- from the wireless router (D-Link AirPlus).

In tiding up the store profile area within system properties, I've deleted a
temperary profile that data had been saved too.  Please kill off any small
lingering hopes I've got of recovering this data by suggesting something that

I have an Intel Centrino 2200BG in my laptop and a Dlink DSL-G604T ADSL
wireless router.  I'd like to run WPA-PSK but the notebook only allows WEP or
nothing.  I downloaded Q815485_WXP_SP2_x86_ENU.exe from the net but it only
allows USB falshdrive updating and the G604T doesn't ...

Hi. I have been trying to network win98 and XP. I using cable for internet.
They both able to use internet (router). I have run network setup wizard on
