I was wondering if anyone knows where the "locations" in "Select User or
Group" in "Advanced Security Settings" gets populated from? Is there any way
to add another network PC or remote user to the "locations" box?

Please can someone help an idiot.  Please forgive me if this is in the wrong
forum,  but I'm not sure where to go.   I have 2 pc's that are networked
like this;

I cannot start either of the above services.  When I try to initiate them
the HD sounds like it is seeking and then I get the following error messages.

My PC running Windows XP Home edition decided to stop sharing folders on my
home network.  After digging into it a bit I found that the server service is

Would there be any issues in this setup?  The little bit of quick research
I've done leads to very minor, if any, issues, but I can't find anything
specific regarding doing this with no DNS server running.  And, if we do
have to run DNS, would an NT DNS Server work OK?
