imho, more publicity is needed re the buggy netork implementation of XP SP2. there must be thousands of frustrated souls following every procedure to the letter only to encounter "limited or no connectivity" or similar

Ok, I've got several pcs on my LAN and one pc has a program installed that one of the other pc's must access the data from. This has been working fine up until last week. Now PC 2 can't see PC 1's program file directory. I get can't access...you may not have presmission...etc.

i cant ping outside my LAN if i ping the internal DNS and gateway it give a reply GENERAL FAILURE... luckly i can still browse using IE thorugh a proxy server
