In a typical home LAN setting, there is a broadband router acting as DHCP server, all PCs have file/printer sharing, microsoft network client, and netbios over tcp/ip, all in a workgroup. This results in very slow netbios name lookup.

When I run an "ipconfig/all" it it says "no" next to "DHCP Enabled." How do I enable DHCP? I chose to obtain an IP automatically under the network properties, so DHCP should be enabled when I run ipconfig.
