I'm on a Domain where one of the PC's on the system keeps getting the
microsoft automatic IP.
The DHCP seems not to be assigning an address to this PC.
I had the problem with another machine, when I rebooted the Server it

Many of my networked computers have just recently started dropping the
network connections with the mapped data server.  The server is mapped as U:

My desktop received malware attack and hung. I did system restore and got all
applications running again except Internet connectivity. I have DSL modem and
Verizon service. My laptop with XP works fine with modem and internet.

I would like to eliminate the user logon history.  What I mean If I am
logining into a workstation the previous user's logon name appears - How do I
eliminate it - so it is blank everything someone logons on.

Everyone,
I've got a Windows XP PC connected to a corporate LAN using DHCP etc.,
working perfectly. I needed to add a second network card to this PC to
be able to communicate with instruments. The second network card is

the xp home machine is connected to the xp pro machine. xp home was asking
for user/password when connecting to shared folder but has stopped doing
this. It just logs on without any security.
