I have tried repeatedly to connect a printer: Brother 5440N through a
Netgear DSL/Router + Wireless.
It is connected through a Cat 5 cable to one of the 4 wired connections.
I've tried running the installation CD correctly.

My Windows XP was setup in a domain configuration.  I changed the
configuration to use a "workgroup".  After the changes, I was
instructed to reboot my PC.  I did and now I can now longer log into my
PC.  On the XP login screen, the account I used on the domain no longer

I get an error message on startup that says 'Generic host process error' and
another that indicates the problem is with svchost.exe.  As a result, I have
no network icon in the system tray and no network access.
Any ideas?
